The Vic Firth Hi-hat Mute helps create a quieter practice environment at home or on the road. This nonslip rubber hi-hat mute seats right on top of your standard-sized stage and studio hats (13 to 14 inches in diameter) to reduce output in a volume-conscious setting. You can play directly on the pad for a muted tone or strike the hi-hats themselves for greater output and definition.
