DESCRIPTION

The massive success of the original Fly Rig 5 for guitar pushed bass players to pester Tech 21 for a bass version. The result is the Bass Fly Rig; a Swiss Army Knife-style tone solution for bassists. Good news is, no menus and screens to go through; just good ol' knobs, switches, and footswitches. It's like having a pedalboard, albeit only about the size of a couple of chocolate bars.

At its core is of course, the legendary SansAmp preamp; for a realistic bass amp sound even when connected direct to a mixer, PA speaker, or audio interface. Its 3-band EQ, along with the Character and Drive controls, let you get any sound you like; from vintage to modern to overdriven sounds. For effects, you have the usual (and essential) suspects: a compressor, a powerful boost, an octaver, a fuzz, a filter and a chorus

As a bonus, the Bass Fly Rig has an onboard tuner for convenient and precise tuning whether you are onstage or offstage, as well as a Headphone mode when you don't want the neighbors to hear this pocket monster thump and roar.
