DESCRIPTION

The Pro Tools S3 from Avid is a sixteen channel, EUCON-enabled, compact desktop control surface that offers a streamlined and versatile mixing solution for audio applications. While its small form factor makes it ideal for space-confined or on-the-go music and post mixing, it still provides extensive efficiency for faster turnarounds in project studios or l arge facilities alike.

The ergonomic design and full EUCON support allows for tightly integrated recording, editing, and mixing control with several choices of DAWs. Because the controller is application-aware, switching between different DAW sessions happens in seconds. Additionally, the surface can be customized for a specific task using up to twelve custom mixer layouts which can be recalled at any time.

And to provide further tight integration, the S3 features a built-in 4 x 6 interface, allowing for recording, mixing and monitoring sessions using just the surface and a laptop. Or audio can be monitored using the control surface in standalone mode with no additional audio interface required.
