The Pioneer S-DJ80X features tweeters, which use convex diffusers taken from TAD Labs' iconic TAD Pro TSM-2201-LR monitor speakers, which can be found in professional studios across the world. The tweeters improve the directionality of high-frequency sounds, providing a 3D stereo sound experience to take your sets to the next level.

Pioneer has designed the S-DJ80X with an 8inch woofer (the largest in the range), crafted from taught Aramid fibres, moulded over thick baffles. The S-DJ80X is also fitted with taught bass ducts crafted with grooves to reduce air friction. The speakers also output bass from the front of the unit, rather than the back. These features help the S-DJ80X deliver a powerful bass at any volume.
