DESCRIPTION
The TASCAM Series 8p Dyna is a top-notch solution for adding extra channels to your live or studio rig. The Series 8p Dyna includes eight of TASCAM’s excellent-sounding HDIA microphone preamps, along with an easy-to-use 1-knob compressor on each channel. These pres exhibit impressive specs — especially at this price point. The all-analog compressors are equally as significant — they effectively tame hot input signals and include true-bypass switching, so they don’t color your sound when they’re disengaged.
The Series 8p Dyna boasts a bevy of pro-level features, including individually switched +48-volt phantom power on each channel, dual S/MUX optical outputs, eight line-level balanced analog outputs, and word clock I/O. The SERIES 8p Dyna's eight line-level analog channel outputs are provided on both 1/4-inch balanced TRS connectors and balanced 25-pin D-Sub connectors. Route signals to interfaces, recording mixers, front-of-house consoles, and pretty much anything else. You also get front-panel indicators, enabling you to keep an eye on your levels and compressor status. The Series 8p Dyna is housed in a rugged metal, 1U rackmount enclosure.
