DESCRIPTION
The Fortess is a newer model in Warwick’s line-up, but has all the great features that people love about their basses.
This RockBass model is an affordable version of their German-built Fortress, yet still provides you with immense tones and playability – punching well above its price-point.
Electronics:
The Fortress models are equipped with active MEC P&J-style pickups, providing that unique Warwick tone. They deliver plenty of punch and clarity, ensuring that you will cut through onstage or when laying down tracks in the studio. Active electronics give you great control over your sound, making this a very versatile bass that can be used for a variety of styles.
Construction:
The RockBass Fortress Bass has an Ash body, delivering a bright tone with lots of mid-range clarity. They also feature a bolt-on maple neck, giving a snappy attack with definition to notes so you can stand out in a mix. The Rosewood fingerboard gives a classy-look to the instrument, and feels smooth under the fingers to give brilliant playability.
