DESCRIPTION
Ernie Ball RPS Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar is similar to the Slinky Nickel Wound sets but the Plain Steel strings are reinforced. The RPS Slinky Ernie Ball sets have plated plain steel strings that feature a patented brass wire that is tightly wrapped around the lock twist of the ball end to minimize slippage and breakage at the ball end. The wound strings are made from nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hexagonal steel core wire. The Plain Steel strings are made of specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel producing a bright and balanced tone.
