DESCRIPTION

The MixRack is the heart of any dLive system. It houses the XCVI processing core complete with audio I/O, control and audio networking ports. It is typically connected to a dLive Surface, but can also be controlled at the same time as or even without a Surface using a laptop or iPad, Allen & Heath IP remotes or third-party controllers via TCP/IP.

There are 3 sizes of dLive MixRack available. All feature the same mix engine and differ only in the number of analog I/O. All models can work with the full 128 channels by adding DX expanders or patching digital sources.

XCVI Core delivers unprecedented performance

With 36 parallel virtual processing cores, the dLive DM32 MixRack generates enough power for 160 x 64 channels of processing at 96kHz, thanks to its robust XCVI Core. That's a lot of power! The XCVI Core's six parallel mixing engines calculate over 10,000 cross points per sample and 25 billion operations per second. Its router utilizes FPGA technology, delivering enough capacity for 3,000 x 3,000 audio paths. This gives you 128 full inputs and 16 stereo FX returns with full processing, a configurable 64-bus architecture, variable bit depth for excellent precision and noise performance, incredible headroom thanks to a 96-bit accumulator, and an amazingly low 0.58ms of latency.

Allen & Heath's DEEP technology infuses the dLive DM32 MixRack's input and mix channels with a massive assortment of FX emulations that will make your mixes pop like never before. Create incredible mixes, thanks to a sizable collection of compressor models, including Slow-Opto, RMS, and more. Shape your sound with a powerful array of EQs. Enjoy latency-free performance without monopolizing FX slots. And speaking of FX slots - the DM32 has 16 available, each with a dedicated stereo return. Load them up with any of the reverb, delay, or modulation algorithms from Allen & Heath's RackExtra FX portfolio.

dLive systems offer insane levels of expandability

Fully expandable, Allen & Heath's dLive systems are capable of delivering up to a mind-boggling 848 x 848 inputs and outputs, all running at 96kHz. The MixRack is the brain of the system, containing the XCVI Core, and is supported by a whole host of surfaces, apps, software, TCP/IP control, and IP remotes, all of which provide different means of controlling the mixer. You get five 128-channel I/O ports that support Dante, Waves SG, ACE, and MADI, along with DX32 modular I/O expanders and full compatibility with ME personal mixing systems. We've found that dLive systems are flexible enough to tackle any mixing challenge that we throw at them.
